Here are some more photos from @saitexdenim in Vietnam, the world’s first fair trade denim factory for @jcrew and @madewell. The factory uses minimal water in the process and follows strict regulations for the benefit of their workers.
@kaws at his studio for @juxtapozmag. I got to shoot Brian ten years ago and he’s only gotten better.
Riding with the seatwarmers on and Joy Division’s “Atmosphere” coming out the radio.
Congrats to @dualipa. Best New Artist.
Forgot that I had these photos of @missmargoprice. She’s nominated for album of the year at the Grammys. Shot for @rollingstone.
@dualipa’s nominated for a bunch of Grammys including Best New Artist. Some of my photos of her are in the new issue of @rollingstone. She was great and I’m wishing her luck.
Ever get into something (a song, a movie, a book, a band, etc.) and seemingly out of nowhere it blows up? I shot these photos of author Marlon James for my first @nytimes assignment four years ago. He wrote this great book called “A Brief History of Seven Killings” then and I finally got around to reading it just these last two weeks before a vacation to Jamaica where much of the book is set. I’ve been obsessed with the story and now I see James in all the magazines. Unbeknownst to me, he just published a new literary sci-fi fantasy novel called “Black Leopard, Red Wolf” with black characters. I’m really psyched to read it and I also just read a great profile on James in the New Yorker. He was so cool to shoot and seems to have only gotten more interesting.
The Boundary Waters are a million acres of land and lakes on the northern edge of Minnesota where it meets Canada. I traveled up there with @maddytank to shoot chef and conservationist @cheflukasleaf ice fishing for a @bestmadeco adventure. We snowshoed out over the ice before dawn and spent the entire day enjoying the quiet stillness of frozen Duncan Lake. You can see the whole slideshow on Best Made’s site. I left out most of the fishing parts in this post.
Instead of the traditional Super Bowl commercial, Skittles is putting on a Broadway musical starring Michael C. Hall this afternoon. I saw a rehearsal and it was a funny and self-aware take on advertising. All the ticket sales go to charity as well. Shot for @nytimes.
Feeling groovy with scenes from a weekend in NJ. Rollerskatin’, Liberty Science Center, and a “Dark Side of the Moon” laser light show at the planetarium. Could’ve been 1986 if only we dressed cooler.
Really enjoyed seeing Paul Dano completely lose it alongside a prickly, smarmy Ethan Hawke in “True West” tonight at @roundaboutnyc.

I went to Vietnam to spend a few days at Saitex, the first Fair Trade certified denim factory in the world, for @jcrew and @madewell.
The royal treatment at King Spa at 1 AM.
Turks and Caicos last year with @jcrew.
David Carroll, a professor at Parsons, is in a legal battle to reclaim his data from Cambridge Analytica, ultimately fighting for the privacy of all us social media users. There’s a fascinating article on his story on @Wired. Thanks @scooper_sfo for putting me on.
This stud. Now in his Ewing year. @andrewwhitey
